The form of Handicrafts is unique to the "Pink City" of Jaipur. The specialty of gemstone paintings is that they are made using semi-precious stones without using any synthetic or artificial colors. This is a unique art developed by artists in Jaipur (Rajasthan) The paintings are done on glass using crushed precious and semi precious stones and finally pasted by skilled and experienced craftsman on the back side of acrylic glass sheet. This process is entirely done by hand without using and machinery these paintings do not loose its shine with time. These gemstones shine and give traditional rich when the light falls on them. The entire work on this item was done by hands without using any moulds, by Indian skilled craftsmen & was made after immense concentration & creativity. The stones used are in this paintings are mainly Amethyst, Cornelian Agate, Garnet, Green Aventurine, Red jasper, Sodalite, Turquoise
